Antoinette Cleoni, designer and owner of Acleoni Designs, has translated her love of the culture, art and traditions of Tibet into a completely new suite of evocative sterling silver jewelry. Clouds, lotus flowers and hearts are starting points for necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants in the all-new Andonia collection. Pictured here is a small sample of the Andonia Beyond Clouds Semiprecious Collection which makes liberal use of 6mm faceted round garnet, peridot and blue topaz. Antoinette is also debuting another sterling silver suite featuring champagne mother-of-pearl inlay with bezel-set mabe pearls. Reflective Images introduces two-tone gold over sterling line for the entry-level bridal market

“Many people at the entry level of the bridal market are tired of the commercial bands and want a handmade product with great design,” declares Marc Choyt, president of Reflective Images Inc of Santa Fe, New Mexico. For that growing segment of the market, the company introduced a new line of 18K gold over sterling silver two-tone bridal designs retailing between $250 and $600. In most cases, the designs -- by Helen Chantler, lead designer for the company -- go all the way around the ring, and can be produced in 18K yellow gold or variations of gold and silver. In addition, the designs can be accented by diamonds and colored gems. "They stand out in today’s market as completely unique,” notes Choyt. With designs in both gold and silver, Sara Blaine creates contemporary classics

Sara Blaine's is one of the fastest growing bridge lines with style-centric silver and gold designs that reflect Sara's love of fashion. What sets her apart from other high-end jewelry designers is her ability to make colored stone combinations that may not at first appear complementary. For Sara, it just comes naturally. So has the happy medium she has reached between trendy and timeless elegance. There is plenty of room between the extremes of those two points to create great jewelry with both contemporary appeal and the longevity of the classics, and Sara does it so well. New phenomenally-patterned line of fossil-based jewelry from Murphy Design

Diamonds may be the oldest materials that jewelers work with, and gold may have an eternal allure, but for something that really connects with nature, few things can approach the beauty and rarity of fossilized material. As designer Patrick Murphy puts it in regard to his new line of jewelry highlighting fossilized dinosaur bone, coral, fern and wood: "These materials lend a more direct connection to nature, and they display beautiful natural patterns." It's pretty clear from this sample that Patrick has found some outstanding material to work with, patterns that few if any goldsmiths could replicate in metal, and has created some truly outstanding pieces. From The Touch: Brilliant Solutions for Consumer Resistance to Rising Gold Prices

In response to retailers’ concerns over the volatile gold market, The Touch has created two new collections in stainless steel and in titanium. “ We needed to give retailers a price-stable product to move while consumers adjust to the higher price of gold," states George Simpson, the company president. "Titanium and stainless steel are very fashionable now and the reliable lower cost of materials made them an obvious choice.” The Mariner’s Collection shown here features bracelets, necklaces and earrings using stainless steel cable with elegant clasps and gold accents. The new Black Silk™ collection of affordably priced necklaces features delicate stations scattered on multiple strands of a coated titanium alloy, nitinol - the most elastic metal on earth, meaning that it won’t kink. The nautical version depicts delicate creatures from the sea floating on thin black lines. For a better look at this new jewelry, click here or visit The Touch website at
